Don't buy Krups. Their quality is terrible and their service is even worse. This machine is less than two years old (warranty replacement) and it no longer functions. Since it was a warranty replacement near end of two year warranty on my original purchase they will not service this one without a substantial service fee plus parts. When this machine was new it did the same thing and they had to replace the motherboard. Between my original purchase and this one they have been serviced six times. Now I have a very expensive piece of junk that does nothing but make a lot of noise. No coffee, no joy!!!

Kind of you to reply, I have searched all over for a solution, live in a small city in Canada, and would have to lug it to Vancouver to get it fixed. Would you know of anywhere I could get directions to fix it myself. Did you need to replace a part, or just monkey it? I can't get further than just a peek inside, don't know how to take the top plastic off. Should you need to do another repair, can I beg you to do a video of it?.. I know... asking too much... :)

I got Krups Thailand to fix it out of warranty but they made me sign an agreement to never ask them to fix it again without a service fee. Since then the machine has broken down again and I opened it up and fixed it myself. These machines are made to NOT last. In Thailand they are premium priced compared to other countries like the U.S. where they sold them for 1/3 or less what I paid for mine.This specific error has to do with water pressure not reaching proper levels.

ReplyDeleteabsolute piece of crap garbage!!!! NEVER BUY KRUPS... I got ripped off my this thing BIG TIME, and continue to get ripped off. I paid $1200 for it, it breaks down every 30 cups of coffee and then the repair bills average $150. It's litterally in the shop being repaired more then half the time I've owned the damn thing. I've put nearly $2k into it for about 150 cups of coffee total... Add in the price of the coffee beans and I'm paying about $15 per cup of coffee.
