i have a sole touch (by sole espresso). it cost me half and makes less noise than this one... threw my $900 catering line (by saeco) out because it broke after 4 months.... and yes i did try before i bought just to make sure it did what it said it did.
1. Because it was $289 on ebay 2. I read lots aggregated user feedback on Amazon, ePinions 3. because it represented the best value of all fully automatic espresso makers available last year
Have a look at the other videos posted to get an idea. The issue was never coffee taste, if you want that just walk into your local coffee retailer and have a cup.
Hmmm I wonder why you would buy a 1200$ machine without getting a sample from the machine. I personally want first and foremost to know how the coffee tastes from the machine I would buy.
