Aaah - I just returned from Switzerland - the average laziness I saw in action shows an unsustainable society that is unsustainable.
The reason manufacturing was moved to China was that they'd have had to hike up the price otherwise thanks to luxurious and unsustainable work-place benefits in place in Schweiz...
Anyway, the Chinese easily have a better work ethic - and quality control is top notch- if not the better than what you see in factories in Switzerland. But Jura tried to save!
if they're really made in Switzerland I'll be impressed. I have an MT500 coffeemaker.. love it. But my understanding is they switched manufacture of it to China and called it the MT600--which is a piece of garbage. +1 if it's really all made in Switzerland.
