  1. Is it hard to clean? I don't want to make a ton more work to do for my wife.

  2. It is a Bodum Chambord Manual Frother. It sells for about $25.00 @ Bed Bath & Beyond and Sur La Table. I purchased mine yesterday and have already fallen in love with it. Enjoy!

  4. And don't forget, to enjoy a cappuccino the Italian way, only drink them in the morning. Cappuccino, Latte, etc, are morning drinks, caffe (espresso to you and me) is the day drink.

  8. Distilled water is good for an expresso machine because of the build up of minerals inside the machine is a bad thing and because the brewing process is fast and the minerals would not have as much of an affect on the coffee's taste. The Moka pot is not an expresso machine, the steeping last longer, and the minerals in the water have a positive affect on the flavor of the coffee. distilled or soft water makes a less flavorful cup.

  12. i agree with you on the microwave, it destroys nutrients. and i have heard that it's best to use bottled water as well. excellent video, otherwise.

  15. you go to all that trouble to make a pretty cappuccino but use tap water. maybe i am mistaken and you dont have flouride and other chemicals in your water. here in the states i use only distilled. the microwave is a problem...it is a destroyer of the nutrition in foods.i would get that out of my kitchen pronto.

  23. Pretty good & aromatic though no/hardly any crema will form.
Bialetti have now brought out the Bialetti Brikka which has a pressure valve to produce crema, same design principle otherwise. I have yet to try it though.

  24. How does the espresso taste compared to a professional espresso machine? I see no crema when you poured it.

  25. that's not a bad idea for how to make the milk though I have to say, microwaving milk is really not good for ya, also, the froth this guy just made , was really bad quality fora proper cappuccino. Proper cappuccino has a cream like milk froth on top. Or that's how I like it! Thnaks for posting though caab kind of ya.
