Brew Fresh Lattes and Espressos Using the Breville Dual Boiler Espresso Machine | Williams-Sonoma

Kick start your day with a fresh cup of espresso made using the Breville Dual Boiler Espresso Machine. In this video, Sean, Coffee Expert at Williams-Sonoma demonstrates how the Breville espresso machine can be used to make fresh lattes and espressos. This Breville espresso machine lives up to its name and features beautiful design combined with high functionality. This espresso maker features a built-in tamper with magnet to save counter space along with separate sections for hot water and steam. The dual boiler machine features two boilers -- one for the hot water and the other for steam. This means that you can multitask and make two separate drinks simultaneously. This versatile espresso maker comprises a large water reservoir and easy, user-friendly controls. It has a power button, LCD screen, pressure gauge, programmable buttons and dial for hot water and steam controls. Another interesting thing about the Breville espresso machine is that it can be adjusted to move back and forth with a simple adjustment located below the drip tray. Sean demonstrates the few easy steps to brew an espresso and then to make a cup of frothy latte, Sean uses the Breville Conical Burr Grinder to grind the beans. He evens out the ground beans using the tamper and places the beans in the espresso maker. He then positions a cup below the nozzle and presses the button to brew a cup of fresh coffee. You can follow the same steps to make a cup of latte and use the steam to froth your milk ...

  1. This guy has learnt the key features but is clueless when it comes to calibrate the machine to make a killer espresso. His latte is a mess. He must be a tea drinker

Can you tell me what setting you have the Breville grinder set on? I have this grinder and am looking at getting the coffee maker as well, but not sure where to set the grinder - there are a few espresso settings!

  4. The texture of your milk is identical to the coffee, so it just turns lighter. Show a heart on the top to show the machine can at lest do that.

If milk is textured correctly there are NO bubbles. Banging a steaming pitcher on the counter is a true sign of a newbie at play. Yet people wonder why there is so much misconception and misinformation out there in the coffee world. Get a job you're decent at because your future sure as hell isn't behind a coffeebar!

One word comes to mind, TWINK! Coffee expert my ass. No wonder Williams-Sonoma carries shit for equipment. The only decent line they have ever had is Elektra.

Gotta love it when he says the pre-infusion is soaking the beans. That will be one fast shot if the dumbass put beans in the basket. It's GROUND coffee, not beans.

Breville should know better than to make their 1st decent machine only to include dual wall filters. Like having a rev limiter on a Lambo!

  8. Yikes. Why not get a guy who knows what it takes to make a good espresso showing it?! Its like trying to sell a car, and then showing it drive with a woman behind the wheel. ;-)
