2. Making Coffee - Delonghi Magnifica Pronto ESAM 4500 Automatic Coffee Maker

Delonghi ESAM 4500 Automatic Coffee Maker 2. Making Coffee This is making a latte using the Delonghi ESAM 4500 Automatic Coffee Maker (ESAM4500). The sound at the start was the grinding of the beans A few seconds into the milk delivery, I adjusted it from flat white to latte mode on the milk jug Usually I would add sugar prior to milk delivery, as this means you don't have to stir the drink much. Also note: Rinsing of the milk nozzle should be done BEFORE turning the machine off.... Hence my next video! ;) I usually don't add that much chocolate, or make such a mess :)

  1. You should really look into some other kind of beans if you want GOOD coffee. Starbucks is burnt coffee. There are way better (AND CHEAPER!!) beans on the market.
Make sure you always use 100% ARABICA beans or you'll get troubles with the grinder.

  2. It's a great machine, very similar to the Jura line up, but love the milk section on the front.

  3. It's pretty good. The Saeco 'ring' one is brilliant though. Although, you'd be paying twice the price.

  4. Whatever I can get my hands on. I was using StarBucks beans at the time.

  5. You add pre-ground into the centre compartment on the top (to the right of the beans hopper.

  12. I left it as the default, and decided to use some nescafe cups that I had. The default is quite good, but you can always push the big button to get more coffee (but it over-draws) or just push it twice for foam only. Press again to stop.

  14. Thanks!

It's just my crappy commentary, because I wasn't in the mood for speaking without coffee first.

Feel free to rate this highly! :-D

  16. Love it, and highly recommend this machine.

Its a lot cheaper than the one directly above it, and makes fantastic cup.

Only downside is that the milk in the milk jug tends to get smelly and go off rather quickly.
Obviously the milk jug needs to stay in the fridge when not in use.

A brilliant machine that cost us AUD$1100.
