How to Steam & Brew on the Pasquini Livia 90 Auto






We did a crew review of the Livia 90's specs awhile back, but didn't do a demo on the machine (what were we thinking?!). This follow-up video covers the machines basic specs, pros/cons and shows Gail pulling shots and making a latte. Enjoy.

    Yeah - milk steaming position is based on machine ergonomics; you will have to adapt it to the machine and also to your own stature/posture. These are Hx machines which do require a flush, but the crema is largely dependent on the coffee. - Kat

    I noticed two things,:
    1)you froth your milk differently on different machine, is it due to machine or you just do it randomly?
    2)The crema looks darker than what is should be, is it due to the coffee or this machine is like one of those machine that you have to make sure to flash it as the water is hotter than what it should be for a perfect pull?

    I think Gail hurts herself in some way in about half of your videos. Does she really not know that the steam wand and the steamed milk and the water from the group and hot water wand are, uh, HOT!! haha Just having fun.  Love the videos as always.
